Roaring Fork River

1. MIDDLE ROARING FORK DUCKIES - Middle Roaring Fork River - Enjoy being master of your own vessel as you tackle the smaller whitewater rapids in your own inflatable kayak. These duckies are fun, stable and easy to master. Class II and III water, perfect as an introduction to kayaking.
Minimum Age: 10. Length: 4 hrs. Season: May to September. (includes refreshments)

2. UPPER ROARING FORK- Upper Roaring Fork River - This section features beautiful scenery and exceptional whitewater. Class III water, good for beginners as well as experienced rafters. This is a MUST trip if you're in the Aspen area early in the summer season.
Minimum Age: 6-12, depending on water level. Length: 4 hrs. Season: May to mid-June.

3. MIDDLE ROARING FORK - Middle Roaring Fork River - The middle section of the Roaring Fork River is a great introduction to rafting, taking you through the town of Basalt. Class II and III water, good for beginning rafters and a great one for the children.
Minimum Age: 6. Length: 4½ hrs. Season: May to September. (includes refreshments)
4. LOWER ROARING FORK - Roaring Fork or Colorado River - Offering views of the majestic 12,000 ft. Mt. Sopris, with interesting geology and great whitewater! Class II and III water, good for beginning rafters and young children.
Minimum Age: 6. Length: 5½ hrs. Season: May to mid-June. (includes refreshments)

5. SLAUGHTERHOUSE FALLS- MOST DIFFICULT! - The Upper Roaring Fork River has a continuous six-mile long Class IV section of a highly technical Boulder Garden. Your adrenaline will be pumping through the Entrance Exam, Slaughterhouse Falls, "S" Turn, Hells Half Mile, Triple Drop, and many more. Located in Aspen's backyard and a locals' secret, this is what rafting is all about!
Minimum Age 18, depending on water level. Length: 4 hrs. Season: May to mid-June.
