The Maroon Bells are considered the most photographed peaks in North America. The twin peaks tower over you at over 14,000′ in elevation. If you’re lucky, you’ll see the iconic peaks mirrored on beautiful Maroon Lake in a glacier-carved landscape like nothing you’ve ever seen. We recommend getting up to the lake before dawn to watch the rising sun slowly turn the east facing peaks into a brilliant maroon and gold.
