Shoshone Raft Trip: Our most popular trip has withstood the test of time and boasts excellent Class III whitewater, followed by a stunning and scenic relaxing float within steep majestic canyon walls. These rapids, with names like “Superstition”, “The Wall”, and “Pinball”, create an exhilarating section of unforgettable white water. The first section has Class III rapids and then declines to Class II & I as we focus on the beautiful scenery in the canyon. Less adventuresome adults can enter the rafts after the first set of larger rapids. The trip departs at 8:00 AM from the Timberline Condos in Snowmass and returns around 2:00 PM. Cost: $135.00 per person. This cost includes a riverside BBQ lunch following the trip.
Inflatable Kayak (aka “Ducky) Trip: An option for those of you looking for a little more adventure. Everyone will run the Class III section together in rafts, including those of you that book the duckies. One we are through the first section of Class III rapids, we can eddy out and anyone who books this trip will switch over to duckies for the Class II float section of the trip. Inflatable kayaks are more stable than regular kayaks, but there is still a higher chance of swimming. You are in control of your own vessel, but can follow the rafts if you need some advice on the best line to take. AVAILABILITY FOR DUCKIES IS LIMITED!! The trip departs at 8:00 AM from the Timberline Condos in Snowmass and returns around 2:00 PM. Cost: $135.00 per person. This cost includes a riverside BBQ lunch following the trip.
